• Linen

    Most properties do not provide linen. If linen is included it will be noted. All properties supply pillows, blankets and or doonas.

    Linen required to be used during your stay is 2 Sheets per bed, pillowcase and your own towels. Linen can be hired.

  • Hire costs (if required and available)

    $30 for either a king size, queen size or double bed set including 2 towels and $20 for a single (or king single) set including 1 towel. The beds are made up for your arrival. Bathmats and hand towels are included in rental hire. Cost may be added on to your final payment but you will need to let Barbara know as soon as possible to reserve for you. In peak rental times its ‘first booked first served’.

  • What Is Included in Your Rental

    Tea towels and basic kitchen items like salt and pepper. Some owners will give you access to other basic items like tea/coffee/sugar. Toilet paper (one roll per toilet). Some properties will have some basic fridge items that you are welcome to use.

  • Garbage

    Garbage night is Sunday night. Red bin for general waste is EVERY Sunday night.
    Yellow recycling bin is every SECOND week.

    A calendar will be in the house to let you know which bins are required to be placed at the kerb.

    Yellow bins are for clean paper, cardboard, recyclable plastic and glass only.

    Yellow must NOT CONTAIN plastic bags/glad wrap/dirty paper/Christmas paper.

    Green bins are not to be used for garbage or recycling.

    If you do not use the system correctly you will not have enough room for your waste. If bins are overflowing when YOU WILL BE CHARGED for sorting and removal.     Kincumber Shopping Center has a RETURN AND EARN tomra vending machine for bottles and glass at 43 Avoca drive closes 10 pm.

  • Pets

    MacMasters Beach has a dog ‘off leash’ area between the middle headland and the lagoon. Dogs are not permitted in the general swimming area OR the rock pool area. Pets are only allowed at ‘Pet friendly properties’. If you have chosen a pet friendly property there is no guarantee that the property will be fenced. It may be a verandah or a garage. Your pet will have to be controlled, and cleaned up before you leave.

  • Gas BBQ’s

    If the property has a gas bbq, gas is included in your rental. If you run out of gas and there is no spare bottle at the property, please contact Barbara as she has spare bottles.
    BBQ’s are expected to be CLEAN before you leave. If they are not left clean, the minimum charge is $35.

  • On Arrival

    2pm is the usual time of arrival, peak times will be staggered and could be 3pm. Do not enter the property if the cleaners are still working. Keys will be left on site for your arrival anytime after 2 or 3pm and will be arrangements made for location after full payment of rental and bond.

  • On Departure

    Weekend rentals finish at 5pm only when confirmed with Barbara. Weekly rentals finish between 10am or peak times could be 11am.
    Windows and doors should be locked and the property secured.

    Cleaners have a very tight schedule at peak times and must be able to start cleaning at your departure time, so please ensure you vacate by the time stated, if cleaners are left to wait this will be deducted from your bond.

    Keys should be left in the same location as pick up. Garbage should be put out as per information herein.

  • Bond Return

    Your bond will be retained in the trust account until the cleaners have completed their job and reported any problems or excessive time to clean to Barbara. It is usually returned within 5 business days and will be paid by EFT transfer into your nominated account.

    The following account details need to be supplied as your receipt when paying rarely contains this information.

    Local contractors are usually available at short notice so if you have a problem please tell Barbara immediately.. if not tell your friends what a great holiday you had!
